You can use a variety of background colours with the OTD logo, although we recommend the corporate red, black, and grey colours for solid backgrounds whenever possible.

These all used OTD colors. Logo and corporate name are visually prominent.
These all used OTD colors too. But the OTD logo and corporate name are no longer visually prominent. OTD corporate red must always be used to highlight our corporate name on covers. Document titles can only appear in OTD Red on interior text pages or on web pages.
These do not use our prefererd OTD background colors but would be accepted if used to identify a new program. As long as the logo and corporate name--and white keyline rule--are visually prominent.
These would not be acceptable. The OTD Red should never be used when the Corporate Name is present on the cover. No other red can be used othe than OTD Red. The gradated background contrasting colour or to low and clash with our OTD red.
If using a solid or gradated background, please ensure the logo is clearly visible and there is a high contrast between the colours. Communication and promotional materials must use our official corporate red to highlight our logo and name.
